Team Rules

1. You are always on TIME 

• If you are late to practice, your team runs until you arrive. 
• If you miss a practice, you sit the first half of the following game. 
• If you miss a game, you sit out the next game. 
• You get 1 miss for the season (funeral, wedding) 
• You are also on time for team functions….not just practice and games. 

2. You are always prepared 

• You show up to practice in full gear….this includes shin guards 

3. You are always IN CLASS striving for good GRADES 

• You go to class. If you don’t you don’t play. 
• You are expected to get good grades 2.5 or above. Excellence in life demands our best at everything. We can’t do anything half-way and expect great results. 

4. If you have a problem, you come and talk to me first. Your parents are not to approach me with issues if you have not first discussed it with me. 

 

Team Expectations 

 

1. We expect you to be fit and prepared. 12 minute 2 mile run. 5.3 Second 40, no exceptions. 

 

2. We expect you to work. Don’t work and your team will work harder. 

 

3. We expect you to work on skills at home. Minimum 20 minutes. 

 

4. We expect you to show respect at all times to coaches, your team, your school and yourself 

• No alcohol, drugs, or any other substance use. IMMEDIATE removal. 
• No indecent behavior with the opposite sex. IMMEDIATE removal. 
• No back-talking or back-biting. IMMEDIATE removal. 
• No talking when I’m talking. 
• No walking, not even to your car after practice. 
• No swearing. No yelling to the referee. No kidding. 
• No one goes home until field is clean and equipment is put away. 
• No abusing equipment 

5. Game day - everybody watches the game, no interacting with fans, stay in the game mentally
